I've been noticing some talk that perhaps the "American Dream" of home ownership is changing. Perhaps renting is better than buying. I thought this poll was interesting in that regard. It shows that most Americans still feel that homeownership is important; a New York Times/CBS News Poll. Almost 9 of 10 Americans feel that owning a home, in spite of the recession, is still part of their future, and for their children. Meantime a lot of people are putting off purchases, even though this is historically one of the best times in terms of affordability to buy a home.
